When a priest is cruelly murdered, Sara and Danny are called to the scene of the bizarre homicide. The investigation reveals that an unearthly killer is to blame and Sara seeks the help of Gabriel Bowman, who tells her of parallel killings that have occurred throughout history. Much to her surprise, Sara encounters the ghost of Kenneth Irons, who gives her cryptic clues about the murder. Meanwhile it's love at first sight when Sara meets the mysterious and handsome Daniel Germaine. But her perfect love turns into a perfect nightmare when a jealous Ian Nottingham "kills" Daniel in an effort to show Sara her lover's true nature. When Daniel fails to die from his mortal wounds, Sara realizes that she is dealing with a supernatural being. In fact Germaine is a man cursed to spend eternity bringing death to others while not being able to die himself. His one hope is that Sara and the Witchblade can end his torment. Faced with an impossible dilemma, Sara must kill the man she loves in order to free him from his living hell.
