When a murder
suspect is traced to an underground fight club, Jake and Danny go
undercover and become entangled in a very deadly game. Destinies
collide as Sara's long-lost love, Conchobar, enters the ring to
avenge the death of his friend. Sara and Conchobar are reunited
although they don't quite understand the depth of the undeniable
attraction. But they have little time to rekindle the old flame
before Conchobar is seriously injured while fighting Jake. As Conchobar
lies in a coma, Ian Nottingham is confronted by a mysterious woman
named Aras. When she demands information about her origins, Nottingham
discloses a shocking revelation: Sara and Aras are from the light
and dark sides of the same bloodline -- exact mirrors of each other.
This knowledge sends Aras into a frenzied quest for the Witchblade.
Meanwhile, Sara determines to put an end to the fight club and its
ringleader is brought in for questioning, but the deadly fighter
named the Pagan is no where to be found. With the help of the Witchblade,
Sara pieces together the mystery of the Pagan before meeting Aras
at the abandoned fight club. Much to Sara's dismay, Aras is holding
Conchobar hostage in exchange for the Witchblade. As the Witchblade
flashes become overwhelming, Sara must find a way to save her lover
or be doomed to repeat history.
