TNT has released loglines for the next two episodes of the Witchblade television series, "Periculum" and Thanatoposis.

"Periculum" will air Tuesday and is the seventh of 11 episodes. Here's how TNT describes the episode.

"Sara is subjected to the ultimate Witchblade trial. Will she be accepted as a true-wielder, or will she pay the ultimate price? Jake is propositioned by the fearless leader of the precinct when he is asked to join the underground brotherhood of vigilante officers who use their own methods to exact justice."

"Thanatopsis" is the eighth episode. Here's how TNT describes it: "Jake and Sara tail an arms dealer, but their surveillance takes a starling turn when their suspect is shot. Evidence left behind links the shocking crime to Irons and to Sara."

Top Cow's David Wohl, a producer on Witchblade, told The Continuum that he has been pleased with the show and that its creators have used Top Cow's input.

Anthony Cistaro and Eric Etebari, who plays Kenneth Irons and Nottingham respectively, will be appearing at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday and Saturday.

Sources told The Continuum that renewal news for a second season might come within the next month.
