the law, Sara will go to any lengths to bring criminals to
justice. When she comes in contact with the Witchblade, the
ancient weapon stirs to life and affixes itself to her arm,

only use it once. She will remember very little if she chooses
to reverse time. Danny appears and touches her. Sara's near
death. She refuses to help or give blood to the aging Irons.
Instead she raises her sword and hollers, choosing to turn
back time. She and Danny are parked across the street from
the Rialto Theater awaiting Gallo. Gallo arrives, but Sara
decides not to go in after him. She knows they have time on
their side.

Sara helps Jake investigate the murder of Kate Havilland,
Congressman Roland Havilland's daughter. With the help of
Danny, Sara finds Kate's body in an alley. Sara enlists Gabriel's

flash linking Jake to the Bulls and finds an engraved bullet
in Jake's drawer. Sara meets Kate's killer, Leeman Bostwick,
at her funeral. She tries to run after him, but spots Dante.
She runs out of the building and sees Ian. Ian cuts Sara's

is her Achilles' heel. When she loses it, she makes errors
in judgment. Sara asks Joe Siri about the White Bulls and
is disappointed and feels betrayed to learn that Joe knew
that the Bulls killed her father, but didn't do anything out
of fear. Sara tells Jake the Bulls killed her father. Gabriel
tells Sara he's the one person she can trust. Sara knows Orlinski
killed Prospero McQueen, but lets go of Charleyne, the witness,
until she can protect her. Sara goes to Dante's home at night

father. The Bulls are out to kill Sara. Sara tries to convince
Irons' VCN newsroom to broadcast her story about the Bulls,
but the news reporter wants more evidence. The Bulls find
Sara at VCN. Sara is trying to escape. Jake tells her to come
with him, but Ian tells her that Jake's a White Bull. Sara
learns that Ian stole the video tape of her father and returned
it against orders when she needed it the most. Ian also tells
her that he's the one person she can trust. Sara tries to
use the Witchblade to get a read on Jake, but the blade remains
dormant. She knows she can't take down the Bulls alone and
decides to roll the dice on Jake.

of Irons in a briefcase in the back of Parsegian's limo. Sara's
picture is among those under Irons' known sexual partners
list. Sara denies it to Gabriel. Irons calls and tells Sara
that he knew Sylvester Marcus. She later gets a call from
Ian, who tells her that Gabriel's right. Sly's death was not
a suicide. Irons felt that art was imitating life too closely.
Sara knows Ian killed Sly. She also learns from a Witchblade
vision that Ian was the sniper who shot Parsegian and Wolf.
Sara calls Ian a freak when he offers to stay close to her.

each wielder has a crisis. Sara's destiny is to bring sanity
back to the race. She learns from Cathain that she can bring
Conchobar back, but the Periculum takes her away before she
knows how. Cathain tells her that it's not death that follows
her, but she who follows death. Sara says she's willing to
sacrifice her life to achieve her destiny to restore sanity
to the race. She meets Elizabeth Bronte and finds out that
time is a gift of the Witchblade that can be controlled. Sara

(who's wanted by the Irish police for participating in car
bombing attacks in Belfast). Sara gives up the Witchblade
for Conchobar's life when Fiona, an Irish militant who plans
to use Conchobar to get to Edward, threatens to kill Conchobar.
Sara beats up and threatens an Irish hitman/snitch to get
him to find out where Conchobar is. She blackmails Sergeant
Orlinski to gain access to a police lockup where she takes
bags of counterfeit money and unsuccessfully tries to pass
them off as real money to try to free Conchobar. Ian recovers
the Witchblade and returns it to its rightful owner, Sara.

the murdered Father Bellamy.

and her relationship with crowned prince Conchobar, Sara becomes
romantically involved with the Irish rocker Conchobar.

Dominique calls Sara a "brood mare." A brood mare
is "like a breeding horse." Dominique tells her
that Irons "always had an eye for a fine brood mare."
Given Irons' interest in genetic research, evolution and reproduction,
he may want to use or extract genetic material from Sara for
cloning and reproductive purposes. Sara learns more about
the Witchblade from Dominique and Gabriel Bowman. Dominique
tells her that the Witchblade is orchestrating her life now
and that there are no accidents or coincidences.
1.02 Conundrum:
Sara looks just like Elizabeth Bronte, a British spy in WWII
who also wore the blade. She is still learning how to use
the Witchblade. She continues to have visions that help her
solve her cases.
1.01 Parallax:
Joe Siri gives her a box that her father left for her. It
contains info about who she is and about her birth parents.
Her dreams and visions all seem to have meanings. The Witchblade
can protect her from huge flames.
